Andreas bear home

This place on the internet really has something

As several other Bear bloggers already have said (or written), this place is special. Maybe it has to do with the lack of comments or a feed where you can write a reply. It makes the whole thing feel more private (even if it's not). To me the editor (bear, simple, clean) and the lack of features make it easier to get down to what we're here for: top write. Share thoughts and stories and maybe a photo now and then.

A while ago I decided to keep all my blogging to the service Micro.Blog, another nice independent service far away from big tech, but I just can't stick to that alone. Bear blog has something I want, that MB hasn't.

The editor is one thing.

The discovery feed is another.

The look is a third.

A fourth: It’s fast!

I've tried so many blog services through the years and all of them has their thing.

Now I'm down to two. I will stay on MB and I will stay on here.

Another thing I like is that Bear blog is a community – even if the service doesn't provide one in the classical meaning.

I was inspired to write this post after I read this post by Oak.

Be a good bear and keep on blogging.

See you out there. Now I'll meet with my oldest son. We're going to the cinema to watch Deadpool vs. Wolverine.

One last thing. I made a Guestbook (inspired by Robert), feel free to say hello.
